Congratulations to Team Barajas (SFBACC) – Jesus Barajas, Kate Garfinkel, Erik Chiarella-Jensen, Kristina Lugo – who earned bronze at the USA Curling Mixed (Fours) National Championship last week! Team Barajas went 3-2 in round robin to reach the playoffs. The team went on to defeat Team Workin (Dakota) in the quarterfinal, but had a tough game against defending champs (and eventual gold medal winners), Team Falco (Denver) in the semifinal. Team Barajas then faced Team Persinger (Alaska) in the bronze medal match to clinch the bronze with an impressive 8-4 win.
