Congratulations to Team Rice (Coyotes – Joseph Rice, Brendan Foland, Brian Campbell, Scott Campbell) on winning the annual MoPac 5 & Under Bonspiel.
Team Rice had an impressive run during pool play and continued their winning streak all the way through the finals to finish with a perfect 7-0 record.
Team Hernandez (Orange County/CurlVegas) finished in 2nd place. Team Duncan (Coyotes) finished in 3rd overall.
This year’s event was held in CurlVegas from Jan. 23-25.
Note: By winning the MoPac 5&U, Team Rice earned a berth to the USA National Championship this spring. However, Team Rice had already qualified for nationals out of a different qualifying event so the berth will go to the qualifying bonspiel with the most number of entries.
