Congratulations to Teams Treynor (SFBACC) and Hellman (SFBACC, Coyotes) for securing their berths as the MoPac representatives at the USA Curling U18 National Championship this January.
Team Treynor (Karina Treynor, Alice Mihm, Violet Bartels, Shrihasini Malladi, Krisha Umashankar, Coach Sarah Walsh) secured their berth after winning the first ever MoPac U18 Girl’s Playdown at SFBACC last month. They defeated Team Johnson in a best 2-of-3 series.
Team Hellman (Tucker Hellman, Carter Hellman, Cecil Lynn, Troy Nelson, Coach Patrick McDonald) were uncontested in the boy’s division to become the MoPac representative once again. Team Hellman won the U18 Boy’s Playdown in the ’24-’25 season.
Congrats to all and good curling! The U18 National Championship will be held at Rock Creek Curling in January.
