June 4-7, 2026 at CurlVegas

REGISTRATION IS OPEN THROUGH APRIL 20, 2026

The 2026 MoPac Men’s and Women’s Arena Playdowns will take place June 4-7, 2026 at CurlVegas (Las Vegas, NV).

The event fee is $500 per team. All team members must be current dues-paying, league-playing members of a MoPac club and have the competitive membership tier upgrade for 2025/2026. Team members can be from different MoPac member clubs. Competitors cannot curl in more than ten league games at any dedicated ice clubs in the calendar year of the championship. Stick curlers and wheelchair curlers are welcome at this event. The winning team of each division will represent MoPac at the 2026 USA Curling Arena National Championship in Fall 2026 (dates and location TBD). Don’t forget: the region with the most participating teams will receive extra berths.

Draw Schedule:

The draw schedule will be available when we know the number of teams curling. Practice and/or games begin on Thursday 6/4 so be prepared to make travel plans accordingly. There could be 3 draws on Sunday morning (8 am, 11am, 3pm). It really boils down to how many teams are coming! We will know this number on April 20th but not before then.  

Last Chance Qualifier:

The Last Chance Qualifier will be held at La Crosse Curling Club from August 28-30, 2026. This is the event that receives the 12th berth. You do not need to participate in MoPac playdowns to do this event. Any team (of the right configuration and following the rules) can attend the Last Chance and try to earn a spot into Arena Nationals. More information about that event will be available in the coming months and specific inquiries can be sent to bonspiel@lacrossecurlingclub.com.


Helpful tips for common issues encountered while registering:

USA Curling Event Registration Walkthrough (refer to Sport80 -> Resources -> MyUSACurling.com Member Resources for latest version)

Renew/update a waiver that is already current to extend the date so it’s valid through 11/1/2026. Note: There is a known issue with renewing waivers that do not expire until late-October. USA Curling is working on addressing this.

  • Find the most recent waiver listed and select the … on the far right of the screen and then select edit.
  • Hit next, next and then eventually hit renew or add.

To upgrade membership to competitor (only if you haven’t already done a membership upgrade for 2026). Note: The competitor memberships are good for each calendar year and must be current for the national event date, not the playdown date. That is why the upgrade has to be good through 2026. Also note, this is just the USA Curling membership fee. There will be another $125 that goes to MoPac and USA Curling for the playdown fee later.
