The MoPac Board has confirmed the appointment of the MoPac Youth Curling Committee Chair, effective as of July 1, 2025. Please extend a warm welcome to Jeremy Malerich (Silicon Valley), our new Youth Curling Committee Chair. He will be joined by Claire Blaske (San Francisco Bay Area) as the Vice-Chair. MoPac is excited to have them lead the committee in the development of junior curling in the region for the next two years.
Both Jeremy and Claire have strong backgrounds in serving the curling community and developing curling curriculum at their local clubs. Jeremy is a certified USA Curling Level 2 Instructor and Coach, and has a broad range of experience in organizing curling events including leagues and bonspiels. He is also an active member in various committees at the local and national level, and serves as the MoPac club representative for Silicon Valley. Claire has grown up on the receiving end of junior programs as a U18 curler, playing in junior bonspiels and attending youth curling camps, and is now actively involved in developing the junior program at SFBACC.
