Preparation for the 2026 International Tankard is underway! MoPac is honored to be able to send four representatives as part of the US Contingent to the 2026 International Tankard to be held at Vancouver Curling Club in British Columbia, CANADA in late-March 2026 (exact dates TBD).
Nominations for the International Tankard will be accepted now through Jan. 16, 2026.
Clubs should submit a statement (max: 500 words) that describes the outstanding volunteer efforts of your nominee for consideration in being selected as a MoPac representative for this year. Clubs are allowed to nominate more than one person, but must submit separate statements for each nominee. Please submit your nominations to president@mopacca.org.

-Participants will require a passport to enter Canada
-Participants will make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Recommended accommodations with negotiated rates will be announced at a later date.
-Each participant will play three 8 end games: two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Each game will include a fourth end break/broomstack in the warm room.
-Participants should bring three pins from their club to exchange with their Canadian curling counterparts for each of the three draws. Participants can, of course, bring more pins as gifts or for additional pin exchanges.
-As the mission of the Tankard is primarily to foster goodwill between curlers across the border, all participants are expected to participate in all activities associated with the event.
