U18 National Championship
The USCA U18 National Championships are a regional-based, geographic championship aimed at determining our top under 18-aged teams from within the USCA regions. U18 National Champions do not advance to world play.
One team each for U18 Men’s and U18 Women’s are selected (by playdown when necessary) to determine MoPac teams.
Any potential U18 curlers should contact MoPac’s Junior Program Director, Patrick McDonald at juniors@mopacca.org and carefully review the USCA U18 Page for more information.
Junior National Championship
The USA Curling Junior National Championships are a qualifier-based championship aimed at determining our top junior-aged teams (21 and under) within the US. The Junior National Championships serve as a selection event
for the World Junior Championships.
Any player who is less than 21 years of age at any time during the 30th day of June of the year immediately preceding the year the competition is to take place, is a citizen of the United States as of registration deadline, and has qualified for the junior and/or U18 national championships within the past two seasons is eligible to compete.
The championship format for Junior National Championships depends on the number of entries.
MoPac does not host qualifiers nor playdowns for this event but anyone interested in this event should contact Patrick McDonald for information about the event.
