Congratulations to Team LeClair (Coyotes – Bob LeClair, Fred Maxie, Jeff Baird, Brian Onken) on winning the bronze medal at the USA Curling Senior National Championship!
The men’s field at this year’s event held at the Kettle Moraine Curling Club consisted of 26 teams vying for a coveted berth to the Senior World Championship. Team LeClair posted a 3-1 record in the round robin, earning the top spot of their pool and a bye into the quarterfinal. In a close quarterfinal against Team Starkey, LeClair advanced to the semi-final facing Team Hedstrom. After conceding in the semi-final after 6 ends, LeClair bounced back in the bronze medal match against Team Cerkvenik with a 9-5 victory!
