18 teams will battle it out and get a chance to play on their own level for the first time in MoPac history. We have added skills clinics to send everyone home with a bit more knowledge than when they arrived. We hope to expand this event and to be able to nurture our future members to reach competitive levels.
This past weekend, March 23-25, the International Tankard celebrated its 50th year anniversary at the Granite Curling Club, Seattle. MoPac is invited to this annual event by the Washington state curling association. This year MoPac selected the following for their contributions to the sport of curling.

Welcome to another Curling Club in Oregon, Klamath Falls. This is the third club to join us this year and our 15th member.
We Welcome Missoula Curling Club out of Montana and Las Vegas Curling out of Nevada to the MoPac Family. This means that two more states can be added to the map for Curling!
Follow the MoPac Mixed Nationals at the Granite Curling Club in Seattle February 3-5, 2012. This year we have 7 teams playing down and only one team advances to the final 10 in Portage, WI on March 17-24, 2012.
Due to a lack of entries within the At‐Large Region (NE/C/TX/KS) there was one open spot created. This goes to the region with the most entries. The Mountain‐PacificNominate your peers or yourself for the 50th International Tankard event, that is held in Seattle this year, March 23-25, 2012. This event is dedicated to the people who have contributed to the sport in any capacity, may it be the one who has been teaching every open house you have had, your ice crew, board member, or you tell us….. Congratulations to the 4 teams that will be representing MoPac at the Club Nationals in Mankato 2012. After a record number of teams coming out to the regional play downs in Salt Lake City over the Martin Luther King weekend. Thank you all and good luck!
