MoPac Open and Big Sky Bonspiel March 27-29, 2015

Some 150 curlers made the trek to Missoula, Montana during the last weekend of March to participate in the first ever MoPac Open and Big Sky Bonspiels.

The events kicked off on Friday afternoon with a first round of games followed a ceremonial welcome accompanied by bagpipers from Missoula’s Celtic Dragon pipers.

Over the next three days we would host more than 120 games as each team played at least four games. Several teams slogged through 7 a.m. draws and we all enjoyed a boisterous banquet with heated Lethbridge versus Butte bidding wars at the auction with proceeds going to the growing youth curling program in Missoula.

New Season!

Fall is upon us and so is another exciting season of curling here in the Mountain Pacific Curling Association. We are happy to have TWO dedicated ice facilities up and running, as well as a frenzy of activity up in Montana.

We are so happy to announce the MoPac Open Bonspiel in Missoula, Montana March 27-29, 2015. This is going to be a huge bonspiel, with 60 teams  and a 4 game guarantee. For more details, please visit missoulacurlingclub.com.

Also coming up is the Evergreen Curling Club Ladies Bonspiel. This event will take place October 18-19, 2014 – which is right around the corner, so get registered now!  More information can be found at evergreencurling.com/bonspiels.

We’re working on getting the bonspiel calendar updated and published on the MoPac website, and will soon be announcing competitive playdown dates, so stay tuned!
